Kula Shave Ice (Haleiwa, Oahu)

Kula Shave Ice North Shore is a mobile trailer stationed in Haleiwa, sharing a spot with Farm to Barn Cafe & Juicery at 66-320 Kamehameha Highway, Haleiwa. It has easily become our favorite stop on the North Shore for a cold, refreshing post-beach treat.

One of the perks of sharing this space with Farm to Barn is access to this relaxing seating area, complete with picnic tables and umbrellas where you can enjoy your shave ice or cold brew coffee. One of my peeves about other shave ice stands is that there is nowhere to sit down and relax.

But aside from the comfy seating, what really makes Kula Shave Ice a hands-down winner is that their shave ice is made with quality ingredients. Honestly, when you think of shave ice, you think of shaved ice covered in super sweet syrup made with high fructose corn syrup in vibrant hues of artificial colors.

Kula Shave Ice is different. I will quote their website, because I could not describe it better:

Our ice is made using purified alkaline water and shaved super fine into a soft powder. Our syrups are made in house with organic fruit and organic cane sugar or raw honey, and NEVER any dyes, artificial flavors or preservatives. Pure, simple and delicious. Almost everything on our menu is vegan

They also serve organic ice cream and offer vegan and sugar-free Keto options, too. If you’re not into desserts, you can opt for an organic, cold brew coffee.

The next time you’re on the North Shore, stop by Kula Shave Ice! I’m sure it will become your new favorite, too!

Hi Jeannette! Thanks for visiting! I am hoping to write more frequently again. This time, my daughter is keenly interested in participating, so that should give me sufficient motivation! 🙂 Take care and stay safe!
